Szervita Square Office/Lobby | Budapest, Hungary
Vertical surface composition in the main hall.
The building itself has been recognized with twelve international architecture awards and a LEED Platinum environmental certification—an indication that its level of concept and execution is unmatched anywhere closer than Vienna.
At the heart of the central hall, the main installation unfolds as a quietly integrated, light-interactive surface extending seamlessly across the facade of the primary counter. Its presence is subtle yet continuous, shaping the spatial experience without imposing on it.
The architectural team provided three distinct materials, allowing the work to achieve a tactile visual language rooted directly in its environment.
Emerging almost imperceptibly from the depth of the granite-black walls, the glass painting structure engages in a delicate play of visibility and invisibility. Within the reflections of the surrounding glass facades, it camouflages itself—its bronze, wave-like pattern interacting with the movement of visitors, creating a shifting dialogue between surface, light, and perception.
