About KRZN Studio
KRZN Studio is a partnership between Hungarian contemporary artist Zoltán Krizsán and Filipino-American Gina Tan, an experienced museum fundraiser and international consultant who has worked extensively in the United States and Europe throughout her career.
At the core of the studio is Krizsán’s artistic practice, which is grounded in abstraction and an exploration of perception, light, and atmosphere. KRZN Studio operates as both a creative and strategic platform, uniting artistic production with international collaboration. The partnership reflects a shared commitment to cross-cultural dialogue, supporting projects that connect artists, institutions, and audiences across diverse geographic and cultural contexts.
Gina Tan
Director/Partner
In addition to her current role at KRZN Studio, Gina is the Founding Director and Principal at Tangible Strategies, a consulting agency based in the United States that manages membership and fundraising campaigns for museums and cultural institutions. Her clients have included museums in the United States, Canada, Australia, and France.
Prior to founding Tangible Strategies in 2006, she held positions as Director of Membership at the Fine Arts Museums of San Francisco, Asian Art Museum of San Francisco, Pacific Asia Museum in Pasadena and the Natural History Museum of Los Angeles County.
With a deep-rooted passion for contemporary art and a career shaped by her fundraising work with some of the United States’ most influential art and cultural institutions—including the Fine Arts Museums of San Francisco, the Museum of Contemporary Art in Los Angeles, the American Film Institute, the Institute of Contemporary Art/Boston, and the Menil Collection in Houston—Gina brings a nuanced understanding of the contemporary art landscape.
She is an avid art collector and splits her time between San Francisco, Paris and her hometown of Ormoc, in the Philippines.
Rudy Izaguirre Cruz
Studio Coordinator
Rudy has taken the opposite path that Christopher Columbus took to reach the New World. From Havana, he dreamed of culture, books and exhibitions. So he headed to Paris, where he has lived for more than twenty years. Self-taught, and with a great appetite for knowledge, he has since built up a sophisticated artistic knowledge, always looking for ways to grow. His dual training as a linguist and a banker now allows him to approach the art world with a unique and innovative perspective. Today, his work with KRZN Studios is the logical next step in his ever-changing journey, as he works on managing our exhibitions and daily operations.
